Hi
Sorry for being off topic.
Not too sure if you're the right person to contact, if not, could you
please let me know the correct email.
My young 8 year old son has been playing on your Minetest server with
his friends and we seem to have been IP banned until the "End of time"
As I am a little older, and can't quite wait that long to log back in
and find out what the reason for the ban was, could you do me a small
favour, two things:
* Could you please tell me the reason for the ban, so I can take
appropriate disciplinary action upon the concerned party. Young kids
when they get together, can be stupid, and annoying, disruptive,
tiresome, thoughtless...but rarely malicious....that comes later. I
would like to know what was going on so I can make sure they learn
from their mistakes and they don't repeat them on other servers.
* If you are cool with it, please remove the ban on 207.136.2.98. If
not, I am ok with that, and my son and his friends are going to have
to live with the consequences of their actions.
While I myself, don't have time to play many games these days, I am
incredibly impressed with not only the Minetest application, but the
world you have created over there. It's a fine example of open source,
and cooporation, something I am encouraging my son to get involved in.
Contribute back to these communities in ways he can.
Anyway, if you could help out on either of the above, it would be much
appreciated.
Kind Regards
Chris Wilson

Hey
Thanks fo much for unblocking us. I have warned my son that he and his friends need to be respectful of people’s property.
On a side note, I produce content for the No Agenda Podcast. It’s a value for value model in that people contribute what they think is fair value back to the show. The show has been going now for over 11 years and over 1,100 episodes.
I have suggested that he, and maybe come of his friends look at contributing something towards the cost of maintaining the servers online.
Do you have a PayPal for donations ??
Cheers
Chris

I will look into it when I have time.

yes. https://li-fo.de/paypal
We are fully funded for the time being, so you might also consider
just sending me a postcard of your hometown to:
Gabriel Pérez
Postfach 12 01 12

Hey Gabriel,
Thanks for doing this. I know its some time ago, but the email ended up
buried in a bunch of other correspondence.
I've got your address and I'll drop a card in the mail to you this week.
The Minetest stuff you've done is truly a work of art. Inspired my son
and his friends.
Cheers
